About Solutions Auto Repair
Located at 606 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01905, Solutions Auto Repair operates as an auto repair shop serving Lynn in Massachusetts. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Lynn, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Massachusetts vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Solutions Auto Repair at (781) 595-8500; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is solutionsautorepairco.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 58 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Lynn is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Lynn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great mechanic! Took me last minute on a Saturday when my wipers stopped working, and I had a long trip back to NY on Sunday! Pablo was a life saver! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Lynn, MA area!

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! THEY MAKE YOUR ISSUE WORSE RATHER THAN FIXING IT THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU EITHER IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE TRUSTWORTHY AUTOMECHANIC THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! This place has to be one of the worst places to bring your vehicle in Lynn. They are completely incompetent I would not even call them mechanics. My husband called them about a freeze plug being replaced in the engine of our Grand Marquis and Pablo the owner wasn't even familiar with what that was. Against our better judgment and because our car was leaking and needed an immediate fix we took it here because Pablo said they would look at it. After "looking at it" he simply said they tightened the nut in the freeze plug instead of replacing it and we trusted that is what he did. He charged us $96 dollars to tighten a nut! A few days later we noticed a puddle of fluid under our car and now the leak seemed worse! We called Pablo on a Sunday because it was leaking so bad and he told us to call back tomorrow. We called Monday morning and he said the mechanic was not in and didn't know if he was coming in today. With all these red flags we made the decision to bring the car to a more competent aut

Avoid this shop. 10/24/2022 Took my 01 Grand Marquis in against my better judgement due to a leaking freeze plug, it had been replaced with a temporary expansion plug which are rubber and it had started to drip. During the initial phone call Pedro was not familiar with the temporary expansion plugs but was willing to take a look. The "mechanic" looking at my vehicle didn't seem to know much and initially could not see or located the source of the leak so I left the car at their shop. A few hours later Pedro called to inform me they had located the expansion plug tightened it up (very simple, tighten a small mm nut at the end of the plug), he assured me it was no longer leaking. Upon arrival I spoke with Pedro, he said he was unable to locate a replacement plug so they just tightened the one which was currently in the engine block. He charged $96 and provided no receipt. I was skeptical but took my vehicle. Less than 2-3 days later the plug was leaking worse than ever (smaller spot picture). The larger spot shown was taken 10/31/2022. I called Pedro on Sunday 10/30 and he asked that I call back on 10/31/2022. He said he was waiting for his mechanic whom had not showed up yet

These folks really don't know how to fix anything. Brought my car in and the problem was still there. They told me that the squeaks were from the ball joint. They told me that the ball joints ripped because they were old but in reality, they got replaced not too long ago. The car still squeaks even after replacement. Greedy thieves. Best to avoid this shop. Ps. It looks like they hide their low reviews because I don't see much of it. Pathetic.

First, let me say I am thoroughly impressed with the service! All the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I dropped my car off on a Saturday to be diagnosed. From the time I handed the mechanic my keys, discussed a few things with the Office personnel, and was ready to leave...they had already diagnosed the problem with my car! Now that is what I call quality service! They did an excellent job with the repair (alternator) and the cost was affordable! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone for your auto repair needs! You won't regret it!
